SF History EXPO & First Hellenic-American Genealogy Conference

The  Greek Historical Society of the San Francisco Bay Area* -- headed up by our own Jim Lucas of Stockton -- is participating in the 2015 SF History Expo which takes place this weekend at the Old Mint (88 Fifth Street & Mission). It's worth the trip if you are history buff and also want to see what Jim's group has accomplished...

Saturday: February 28th - 11am to 5pm
Sunday: March 1rst - 11am to 4pm

Time to also mention that the First National Hellenic-American Genealogy Conference will take place on Saturday, April 25th at the Hotel Trinity Cathedral in New York City. It's a full day's schedule of pertinent speakers that is fully-funded through the Hellenic-American Chamber of Commerce, so there is  no charge to attend -- but seating is limited and registration is required by contacting Stamatis Ghikas (hellenicchamber-nyc@att.net). Hope to see you there!

* The Greek Historical Society of the San Francisco Bay Area is a California 501c3 non-profit corporation dedicated to the preservation of Greek culture and history -- you can make online contributions to their fine work HERE. Efharisto poli!
